An unique training program for the superstars of tomorrow

Katya Tiuni has more than 15 years of rich experience in the cam model industry as a model but also as a coach and consultant for models and webcam studios. Her work is dedicated to empowering women in the webcam industry. For this, she founded ModelsGuide.online – a unique training program for the superstars of tomorrow. She also owns her own webcam studio called Model’s Guide Studio. Over the years, she has been winning many industry awards and is a known guest speaker at events.

I am very grateful that I met so many great people in the cam industry, who are amazing business partners but also became friends. A big thank you to all of them from this place.

What determined you to open up a live cam studio?
Generally, becoming a webcam girl is a choice like you chose any other profession. Which is great. Originally, I am from Odessa. Life for women there and in any other Russian-speaking country is different. Whilst becoming a webcam girl is a free choice there too, it is also a life changer. The money they earn means financial independence in a strong patriarchal society. All of a sudden, they are able to make life decisions for themselves. Based on my personal experience, I want to empower these women to achieve exactly this.

What is your experience in the live cam industry?
My experience stretches back for more than 15 years now. As described before, I was in the very same situation. Luckily, I am very social and open-minded, I had what it takes to do the job. I even opened a cam studio in Odessa, which was successful right from the start. However, the legal situation of cam studios is in a gray zone and one day, we got raided by the police. Of course, nothing really happened, as they simply went after the money only. For me, this was a clear reason to leave my home country. Fortunately, I was a part of the webcam family already and I restarted my business from scratch once more. I am very grateful that I met so many great people in the cam industry, who are amazing business partners, but also became friends. A big thank you to all of them from this place.

Did you receive any advice/consultancy from any other studio or from any other experienced person in this field when you started?
At the beginning, there was a lot of trial and error. So, I learned a lot this way. But soon, I connected with other people from the industry, who shared their advice and knowledge. For this, I am grateful and it determines my way of thinking and working. Whilst I am happy to work with professional models in my studio, I also welcome beginners. In fact, this was leading me to another business venture two years ago, when I started with Model’s Guide Online, which is a webcam training academy or as we also like to call it CAMpus. Our courses are for different levels, no matter if you are a total beginner or an experienced professional already. We believe in constant learning and improvement, especially in an ever changing environment.

Is there any financial difference between last year and this year’s 1st quarter? Is there any increase in profits?
Good question. This is just one of the examples of our changing industry environment. My team and I have noticed two trends. As people spent more time at home and in consequence online, the demand for adult online entertainment increased. One can say that we benefited from the situation. There is an increasing demand. The second trend we saw and see is towards quality performance. Whilst it was always about 30% nude content only, non-nude content is driving sustainable revenues to studios or independent models. This reflects in our training courses and in all consequence drives the success of our clients.

Since you started your studio, which was your hardest period? How did you get over it?
Surely, the hardest period was after being raided by police in the Ukraine. Literally, everything was gone during one night. I had almost nothing when I came to Prague. This was not only the lowest point as a businesswoman but also personally as everything was gone and only going away was an option – an option, where I also had to restart my life from scratch.

What type of marketing strategy have you adopted? Social media platforms, adwords, referrals?
As a studio, we use a mix of tools to attract models to work with us. Of course, we promote our offer on social media like Instagram for example. Adwords is also an important part of our toolbox. However, referrals is a key element in recruiting as it is connected to trusted sources. For our models and us, it is a very important aspect. However, it doesn’t stop there. Quality is very important for us. Hence, all of our models receive intensive training, when they start with us. After all, we are aiming for a long-term relationship, which keeps both sides happy and fluctuation low for the studio.

What type of cam sites are you working with?
We closely cooperate with the leading premium pages in the market. Of course, we also explore new concepts along the way. Most importantly, we want to deliver premium quality to our target audience. Hence, this is the key aspect by choosing a particular cam site.

What expectations do you have from the cam sites you are working with?
As a studio, you are looking for two things, basically. One is an attractive platform with high traffic. The other one is easy management for your models and the studio from a business perspective. Of course, if you look closer, more detailed issues need to be reflected on like special niches, target audience demographics, technical requirements etc. This will always lead to a very personal decision, either of the studio or the model. We got good experience with a couple of different sites, which serve our requirements.

How many working places do you have/ or how many locations?
We got one big studio in Prague, which our models see as a second home. However, we also have remotely working camgirls in what we call the virtual studio. This is especially dear to me as we can support a lot of webcam girls in Russian speaking countries to lower the risk of getting targeted by the police. Though a real studio offers a familiar environment with additional advantages, we had to see in Russia just recently that studios became the victims of raids and faced prosecution. Not every girl wants to leave their home and family but still enjoys the independence they gain thanks to being a camgirl. In our virtual studio, we help them to fly under the radar of officials as best as possible. Many girls trusted us and joined our virtual studio. None of them was ever arrested. I am very happy about this.

Are you relating the salary of your models to the average salary in the economy? Which is the model’s salary growth expectation compared to the average salary in the economy?
Our business is performance driven. Therefore, it is up to each model to decide how much she wants to work and earn. However, if we want to make a comparison then we need to look at the average salary in their home countries, which is way below what an average performer can earn. There is a very interesting aspect to it, which we tell to our models in the studio and our models, who train with us. Consider how long you want to be working in this business, and keep a clear target on your personal goals. Even though, you can work as a cam model as long as you want. Ultimately, it will depend on the market, and it changes. Financial management is the keyword here and also a dedicated lesson of our training programs.

What helps your model’s confidence?
Many girls say that they get inspired by me and my story. That is flattering, but I am only a part of it. A lot of this comes from themselves and starts with the decision to switch the camera on. In the studio, my team and I constantly work on creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We don’t only work together but also celebrate together like birthdays, holidays or just life as such. It is a bit tricky with the virtual team but as good camgirls, our camera is always on. On the more practical side of the matter, my team from Model’s Guide Online helps with training. And like I said before, it isn’t only about the right light setup and how to perform, but also about how to become a successful businesswoman.

All this together helps our girls and clients enormously and success simply boosts confidence.

What advice would you give to a newcomer?
First of all, make a conscious decision if this profession is really what you want. It will change your life and you need to be aware of it. Once you make the decision, the future is yours. However, the money you can earn doesn’t come easy even if first success might suggest it. By my personal experience and talking to so many models in the industry, it only turns into sustainable success once you are ready to work hard and keep improving. To help a newcomer with this, we have set up a special entry course called “Webcam from Zero”. It’s in Russian only at the moment.

If you had 1 million dollars, what would you do for your studio?
That’s a very interesting question. A million dollars sounds like a lot of money, but if you only use it for spending, it is gone quickly. Supposingly, if I get this 1 million dollars with no strings attached, I would go for a retreat first in order to recharge my batteries. Setting up Model’s Guide Online next to the studio business during the last two years was exhausting and it is still ongoing. Hence, a break somewhere on a beautiful island is more than welcome. However, I would also invite my management team to join me. They deserve it as much as I do. But later, we will work on all the improvement ideas we have for the studio already, realize more in order to become even better. This would also include more training and education. All together, I am sure that a big share of this 1 million dollars would remain, which is a great thought as you never know what life will throw on you. Or as we say during our training at Model’s Guide Online, invest your savings diversely and create some good backup for the future. Read more articles here

TWC Creator Agency

Meet TWC Creator Agency, formerly The Webcam Company, a pioneer in the camming industry and creator management field, with a journey that began back in 2008 during the global financial collapse. What started in Las Vegas with a handful of Colombian home-based models has grown into a global organization with over 40 employees, dozens of contractors, headquarters in Miami Beach and Medellín, and soon a European location in Madrid. Over the years, they’ve become known for professionalism, mentorship, and long-term creator support, earning certifications from respected platforms, lifetime achievement awards for total sales, and a reputation for integrityconsistency, and real care for the people they represent.

How did you get into the webcam studio business, and what inspired you to open your own studio?
“Our story began back in 2008, during the global financial collapse. Like many people at the time, we found ourselves facing economic uncertainty and exploring new possibilities. While researching online for new opportunities, we came across the emerging webcam industry, and something about it sparked a bigger vision.

We started in Las Vegas, working with a small group of Colombian home-based models who were seeking a better path. The deeper we got into the industry, the more we realized how little structure or long-term support existed, not just from platforms, but especially within studios. Most lacked professionalism, mentorship, or even basic care for the people behind the camera.

In 2011, we decided to move to Colombia. We wanted to fully immerse ourselves in the local market, understand the needs of models on the ground, and build something meaningful. We didn’t want to run just another studio, we wanted to create Colombia’s first true webcam agency, built on transparency, strategy, and long-term growth.

What began as a one-person operation has since grown into a full-scale organization with over 40 employees and dozens of contractors working around the world, all united by a shared mission: helping creators succeed with integrity, consistency, and real support.

Today, our headquarters are in Miami Beach and Medellín, representing both our global reach and our roots. We’re now preparing to open a European base in Madrid, the next chapter in our journey to serve creators across borders.”

Any success stories you’re especially proud of?
“There are many, but one that stands out is a model we met on the streets of northern Medellín. At the time, they were homeless, no income, no stability, and no clear future. But there was something undeniable about their presence and energy.

We worked closely with them, step by step, building their skills, their confidence, and their brand. Today, they are one of the most recognized webcam performers in the world. That transformation, from the margins to the global stage, is exactly why we do what we do.

But it’s not just about one story. It’s about staying power. In an industry where models and studios often burn out quickly, we’ve stayed consistent. We’ve been certified by two of the most respected global platforms and have received lifetime achievement awards for total sales. These aren’t just accolades, they represent our commitment to doing things right, and our ability to keep showing up when others disappear.”

Do you promote your models on social media or offer branding support?
“Absolutely. For us, branding isn’t optional, it’s essential. We help our models define who they are, how they’re seen, and how they adapt as they grow.

For many, we’re the first ones to ever ask them: ‘What do you want your brand to feel like?’ From there, we work together on everything, stage names, visual aesthetic, voice and tone, fan psychology, and positioning. Brand identity isn’t just logos or lighting, it’s emotional storytelling, consistency, and trust.

As creators grow, so does the need for reinvention. We help our models refresh their image, shift their messaging, or expand into new spaces while staying true to themselves. And because we now support over 25 digital platforms, from webcam sites to fan platforms and streaming networks, our models have the flexibility to evolve without losing momentum.”

What kind of models do you work with today?
“We work with a wide spectrum of digital creators, from professional cam models to streamers, influencers, and content creators who are exploring new monetization opportunities.

What we love most is the creative diversity in our network. Some of our models are dynamic performers, others are visual artists or storytellers. They come from different cultures and experiences, but what they share is ambition, resilience, and a desire to grow. We don’t try to force anyone into a mold, we help them identify their strengths and build something sustainable around them.”

Many people believe webcam modeling is easy money. From your experience, what’s the reality of it?
“From the outside, it can seem easy, but we know firsthand that this work demands effort, focus, and emotional intelligence. Webcam modeling is a professional discipline that combines performance, communication, and brand development.

There are now dozens of platforms out there, live interaction, fan sites, subscription models, and streaming tools, each requiring different approaches and skill sets. What works for one creator may not work for another, and part of our role is helping models test, pivot, and find their best path.

The ones who succeed understand it’s not a quick win, it’s a long-term journey. They evolve their look, fine-tune their style, and build relationships with their audience over time. That kind of growth doesn’t happen without a team behind them, and that’s exactly the role we play.”

How do you support new models who are just starting out?
“We offer hands-on, multilingual onboarding to every new model, whether they work remotely or through one of our 850+ partner studios. It always begins with a real conversation, we ask about their goals, comfort zones, schedules, and long-term vision.

From there, we walk with them step by step: selecting the right platforms, setting up their profiles, developing their brand identity, and creating a schedule that works for them. We also help with lighting, technical setups, performance strategy, and emotional support — especially in those vulnerable first weeks.

We don’t just onboard and move on. Our goal is to build real, lasting careers — and that requires support, patience, and personalization. We make sure every model feels safe, confident, and fully equipped for success.”

What’s next for TWC Creator Agency, and how do you see the legacy of The Webcam Company evolving?
“Although we’ve rebranded as TWC Creator Agency, the legacy of The Webcam Company is part of everything we do. That name symbolizes the early years, the hustle, the uncertainty, and the values we built from scratch. For many, it still stands as a reference point for trust, professionalism, and ethical leadership in an industry that didn’t always have that.

Of course, some people in the global creator space may have never heard of The Webcam Company, and there’s a reason for that. We’ve never made this journey about ego or recognition. From the beginning, it’s been about our creators. Whether they’re independent models, studio owners, or training centers, our focus has always been on giving them the platform, not claiming one for ourselves.

But creators today aren’t limited to one platform or niche, they’re building digital brands that span across fan platforms, social media, livestreaming, and beyond. That’s why our transition to TWC Creator Agency reflects a broader, more future-focused mission: helping creators build total brand awareness, refine their image, and scale with strategy and confidence.

We’re also preparing to expand into Europe with a base in Madrid, bringing our infrastructure closer to the creators we serve worldwide. Our goal is to offer localized support without compromising the standards and values that define us: transparency, creativity, and long-term vision.

This isn’t the end of the story. It’s a new chapter, built on everything we’ve learned and everything we still believe in.”

Cam Studios

JHstudios’s interview

Starting the year with enthusiasm and energy, JHstudios is ready to take on the challenge of becoming one of the top studios in Colombia. With the essential part of caring for their models and offering advice to those just starting, JHstudios is well-equipped to accommodate all cam sites and provide quality service to every model. They recognize that working with models can take days, months, or even years and that learning new things and being present throughout their professional journeys is integral to success.
With this in mind, they have set ambitious goals for this year, including expanding internationally and continuing to grow by 400%, as they did in 2022. Last year they completed two studios in Colombia with more than 127 luxury rooms, and they look forward to achieving even more success in the coming year.

Jorge & Heiber

What essential part should a studio owner take care of?
I would think that something specific is difficult to know since too many big or small factors make a company successful. However, the most important thing for studios is always their models, but the advisers in charge of them are characteristics of great importance that we must take care of, which is why for JHstudios, its advisers and leaders are fundamental and are key to the success of the model.

As one of the bigger studios from Colombia, what is your advice for someone that starts this year?
JHstudios is a specialist in advising studios and also those that are starting their creation. For JHstudios, the most important advice for those who are starting is to always think about the quality of your company in terms of infrastructure, technology, and human quality, but above all, worry about the little things that arise every day since it is an industry that is always evolving. I always say the small details make the difference.

Heiber

Do you work with all camsits platforms? Explain why? Or if not, explain why also?
JHstudios we are a brand of free pages, we have access to several of the best-known pages, but we are specialists in Stripchat. Our models only work with one or two pages Maximum since working with many pages is the worst decision someone can make. As we always say, you are one hundred percent of you as a person working on a single page means that one hundred percent Attention to those users. Working on 2 or more means that this percentage will change significantly.

How much work with a model until she is a top model for your studio?
Working with a model can be relative and can be days, months, or even years. Being a top requires a lot of perseverance, patience, dedication, and discipline. Acquiring all this is sometimes not so easy. Our role is to understand that there is always something new to learning and teaching. It is important to dedicate quality time to a model, especially advice and accompaniment, throughout her professional path.

What plans do you have for this year? What will it be?
JHstudios has an international projection. We are currently advancing on some projects outside of Colombia as well as a working modality for satellite models on webcam and content pages. The idea is to be able to cover several countries in South America. In the same way, we open a brand of Lingerie in which we are working.

Do you end 2022 with all plans achievable? What was it?
JHstudios in 2022 had a growth of 400% in relation to the past years. Between them, we completed two studios in Bogota and Medellín, Colombia, adding up to 127 luxury rooms in two modern buildings with a capacity for almost 400 models and more than 150 direct employees between administrative and consultants. Our vision is clear, and we always work to improve and advance. Our motto is “Moving Forward to the Future”.
