According to PornHub, straight guys and barebacking are the most popular gay porn categories in many U.S. states. This data, released during Pride Month, highlights the diverse preferences across the country. From the Midwest’s love for relatable straight guys to the West Coast’s interest in barebacking, and the South’s affinity for Black porn actors, the findings provide a fascinating look into regional viewing habits.
Straight guys and barebacking are the top gay porn categories in many U.S. states, according to PornHub’s research. Released during Pride Month in collaboration with pride.com, this data highlights the most-viewed categories and viewing habits based on global searches.
In Europe, twink porn may dominate, but in North America, barebacking and straight guys lead the charts. In the Midwest, states like Wisconsin and Iowa prefer the relatable straight guy category, while the Pacific West coast favors bareback porn. The Deep South and Atlantic coast show a preference for Black porn actors.
Twink porn remains popular in Alaska, Maryland, Kansas, and both Dakotas. Minnesota’s top search is “farm-hand,” fitting its outdoorsy theme, while Wyoming often searches for “vintage cowboys.”
New Yorkers love “muscle bottoms,” and in New Jersey, “country boys” are a hit. Missouri and Kentucky favor “muscle man” and “gay cruising,” embodying American traditions.
Southern states like Florida, South Carolina, and Louisiana, despite prevalent anti-LGBTQ+ sentiments, have “feet worship,” “older men,” and “real military” as their top searches, respectively.
Maine ranks as the gayest state, with 28% of its population more likely to search for gay porn. Kentucky, Delaware, and South Carolina follow closely behind.
Interestingly, men only make up 57% of gay porn viewers. Baby Boomers and Gen X are more likely to watch than Millennials and Gen Z.
Top categories and preferences aren’t available in some conservative and religious states like Utah, Arkansas, Montana, Mississippi, Virginia, North Carolina, and Texas due to age verification laws. After Texas enforced age verification, searches for “VPN access” surged in the state.
Fake traffic may look good for a moment, but it does not build real visibility, real trust, or real results. Cam sites can easily distinguish between low-quality traffic, bots, fake clicks, and real web traffic from legitimate sources.
If your room gets suspicious traffic, it can hurt your credibility instead of helping you grow.
That is why StreamCenter.ro focuses on delivering real web traffic from real sources — traffic created to boost your visibility, increase exposure, and help your cam room get noticed in a safer, more natural way.
No fake numbers. No useless bot traffic. No shortcuts that can damage your image.
Just real web traffic, from real sources, for models and studios that want better exposure and long-term growth.

Diva Traffic: Traffic Services Shut Down on February 20, 2026
Everything is changing in the camming industry. As a clear example, after years of being known as a traffic company—especially for promotion within the adult cams space—2026 is the year the industry says goodbye to Diva Traffic!
Behind this exit is an announcement posted by the company under the headline “Important Service Update.” Diva Traffic stated that effective February 20, 2026, it will discontinue its operations, including all traffic purchase services. The platform also noted that all previously purchased tokens must be used to activate traffic boost campaigns by that date, and that as of today, token purchases and subscriptions are no longer available.
The shutdown closes the chapter on a brand that, for some, was a useful promotional tool—and for others, a recurring source of controversy. Over time, countless rumors circulated across studios and among models, with many in the community alleging the service relied heavily on bots, fake clicks, and non-human traffic rather than real users.
Whatever side of the debate people were on, the outcome is now the same: a familiar name in cam-focused traffic services is exiting the scene, and studios and creators will need to rethink and adjust their promotion strategies moving forward.
