Pornhub, XVideos, and Stripchat are now subject to stricter age verification under the European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA) after being designated as “Very Large Online Platforms” (VLOPs). The European Commission announced that these sites meet the 45 million monthly EU user threshold, requiring compliance with DSA by February 2024.
As VLOPs, they must perform risk assessments and curb illegal content, including child sexual abuse material and deepfake pornography. They’re also obligated to undergo external audits, publish content moderation transparency reports, and provide research data.
EU Commissioner Margrethe Vestager welcomed the designations for ensuring heightened scrutiny of these platforms’ algorithms and processes. Initially, the EU listed 17 VLOPs and two search engines, including major services like Amazon and Google Search, but excluded adult content sites.
Classification as a ‘very large’ platform applies to services with at least 45 million EU monthly users. XVideos reported 160 million, while Pornhub stated 33 million, a figure doubted by the EU. Other sites like XHamster and YouPorn reported lower user numbers.
In October, 30 NGOs criticized the underreported user figures of major porn sites, suggesting they were avoiding VLOP status and related regulatory responsibilities. Access Now questioned Pornhub’s reported numbers against traffic analysis, indicating much higher figures.
This development is part of a global push for stricter age verification on porn sites. The US, France, Germany, and the UK are pursuing similar measures. Under the DSA, all online platforms must follow basic rules, including illegal content reporting and sensitive data usage in advertising.
Several companies are legally challenging their VLOP designation, including Amazon and Zalando. Since the DSA’s implementation, the EU has been actively enforcing the rules, investigating Meta, TikTok, and the former Twitter over content and disinformation management.
Stripchat has restored Amazon Wishlist links, allowing models to once again share their wishlists with fans and receive gifts through the platform.
The feature now includes an additional consent step focused on privacy. Before adding a wishlist link, models must confirm that they understand Amazon may disclose their delivery address to third parties, including gift buyers.
To add an Amazon Wishlist, models need to go to My Profile, paste the link into the Amazon Wishlist field, check the privacy notice box, and save the changes.
If the privacy notice is not accepted, the wishlist link will remain hidden. The update keeps Amazon Wishlist sharing available on Stripchat while giving models clearer control over the associated privacy risks.
Amateur.tv is celebrating Independence Day with American Party 2026, a themed cam event running from July 2 to July 6.
The event invites models to bring a bold stars-and-stripes party atmosphere to their shows, with patriotic room decoration, high-energy performances and playful American-themed styling. At the top of the event, Amateur.tv will reward the Top 5 performers with $200 and exclusive avatar decorations. These limited decorations are unique to the event and will not return, giving the winners a special collectible status on the platform.
With its mix of themed shows, missions, level rewards and exclusive prizes, American Party 2026 gives Amateur.tv models a festive way to celebrate, entertain fans and earn extra rewards during the July holiday weekend.
Fake traffic may look good for a moment, but it does not build real visibility, real trust, or real results. Cam sites can easily distinguish between low-quality traffic, bots, fake clicks, and real web traffic from legitimate sources.
If your room gets suspicious traffic, it can hurt your credibility instead of helping you grow.
That is why StreamCenter.ro focuses on delivering real web traffic from real sources — traffic created to boost your visibility, increase exposure, and help your cam room get noticed in a safer, more natural way.
No fake numbers. No useless bot traffic. No shortcuts that can damage your image.
Just real web traffic, from real sources, for models and studios that want better exposure and long-term growth.
