Emily Jones emerged as Bcams Model of The Month March Edition. We had a small conversation and here is what she had to say;

Emily, how do you feel to be the winner of Bcams Model of the Month? I am actually happy about it. I was so excited when you guys reached out to me and I am so honored to be able to do this and I honestly feel like I made history by being part of it. I’m excited!!

What advice would you give to the new comers in this industry? Definitely one should do enough research. If you are going to join the cam space do enough research before you decide to jump in because there are a lot of terms and a lot of stuff that you need to be aware of and if you go in without any experience people will definitely try to take advantage of you.

Tell us a few things about you that no one knows? Some things that no one knows, it’s hard because I literally share like my entire life on my live stream but I’m trying to do things or a few things that people might not know about me. I was an athlete swimmer in High School for the longest time. I also collect rocks.

You recently started a fundraiser? Yes Emily’s fund is a donation program that I just started that will be a monthly donation to either a charity, or a programme or a person or anyone who could or would use the funds to do something. The first donation is going towards domestic housing violence near where I live but it does not always have to be a charity; in the future we might donate to small streamers, small cam models, youtubers etc just anybody who could use or needs it for some kind or reason. I’m pretty much excited about it. We’ve already got over $100 just on the first day.

We want to congratulate you for your youtube channel. We think it’s not only a good way to promote you as a cam model but also the live cam industry. I’m really excited about my youtube channel and it has been getting a little bit of attraction lately.

We did a live stream our last night there with fireworks outside our hotel window and a goal to order a giant pizza that couldn’t even fit through the door. The night pretty much ended with three naked goth girls eating pizza and black lipstick, toys, and clothes everywhere.”

What’s something you love about your daily job?
“Sometimes it absolutely blows my mind that it’s my job to share my passions with people on the internet. I love having this duality—one day, I’m strictly latex-clad in Femdom mode, and the next, I’m doing a cute cosplay I made on a whim. I get to combine my sexy hobbies with my regular ones, and every day is a little different, which keeps it interesting.”

What qualities lead to success in this industry?
“I’d say being authentic above all. Whatever you’re truly passionate about, people will respond to and notice. Staying firm on boundaries, not feeding the trolls, and having the patience to grow and find fans/members you genuinely connect with make a huge difference. I genuinely look forward to seeing my regulars when I go on and meeting new people who share my interests and kinks.”

What challenges do you see in the industry?
“I think the industry as a whole will always be up against anti-porn/adult content legislations and groups pushing for heavier censorship. On a personal scale, navigating the constantly changing ‘do’s and don’ts’ as a result of this can get daunting. Figuring out what is banned across different sites, not using certain words/hashtags, shadowbans, restrictions, etc.”

“Really listening and doing the little things. It’s easy to buy someone big, flashy gifts, but the small gestures can mean so much more!”
