What does cam modeling mean to you?
Cam modelling has done more for me in my life than I can say, it’s been a way to express creativity and build a community I never thought I’d have. The people are so amazing, I’ve built relationships, and how cam modeling has helped everyone, is crazy. Without it, I don’t know where I’d be. It has taught me about how to run a proper business, and I’ve learned different skills like editing, coding, and marketing. I’ve been able to cosplay and make a hobby into an income. It means so much to me, and I’m so thankful to anyone who supports me.

Do you have any regrets since you started camming?
I think I regret not taking it seriously as a career when I started. I had no social media presence, no photos of myself, I even quit halfway through when I had so many views, and I was really kicking off. Furthermore, I had to basically come back to nothing except a small percent of my amazing community, and build it all back up again. Camming can be a successful career, and I wish I knew that when I first turned on my webcam. It all worked out, and I’m so happy where I am at, but it really could’ve happened a lot sooner if I took it more seriously.

From your perspective, what are the problems you see working in this field?
The biggest issue right now with being a sex worker is the anti-sex worker banks, politicians, and religious groups. Sex work is a legal job, we pay taxes just like everyone else. I’ve been denied buying a home, renting a place, and a lot more. It’s not just people disliking sex workers. It’s banks denying us our legal rights as legal workers. I encourage everyone to look into the subject more and help us bring awareness and hopefully bring change.

If your job progresses as you like, what would be the next step in your career?
I would love to travel and work with Chaturbate a lot more. Unfortunately, I’m a disabled sex worker with a lot of chronic illnesses, which limits me on what I can and can’t do. I’d love to get that under control, so I can safely go to cons and get out there on a social level. I would consider myself a professional cosplayer, but I’ve never actually worked with any amazing photographers. It’s definitely a goal to step up and do some huge cosplays at different locations.

What’s your favorite thing about the cam site you work with?
Chaturbate has been amazing! I love how interactive they are with their models, the amount of support I’ve got is awesome. My favorite thing about them is probably how open they are to advertising their models and helping them be seen.

If you could go back five years, what advice would you give your younger self?
Don’t be afraid of being in this industry, there is no shame, and be proud of who you are becoming. You shouldn’t listen to what others have to say about what you’re choosing to do with your life. As long as you’re happy with it, that’s all that matters. Read more articles
