Lesson on Love
As cliché as it is to say, loving yourself and respecting yourself is something I believe everybody needs to learn. You don’t need to necessarily hold off on dating as you work on these things, but I always advise my best friends when they’re going on a first date to have them the mentality of “do I like them” rather than “I hope they like me”, when you approach love from a place of desperation and a yearning for acceptance, you end up settling.
