Managing Stress
I was an elite gymnast (from age 9 to 22), and competing at the highest level in European or World Championships was stressful, so I always compared everything else in life to that.
And of course, I can still have some stress because something can be “new,” but I also like a challenge and try to always have a positive look on it.

I have been working with my boyfriend in our own company (Verona Works) in this industry since 2011. And there is always criticism from someone. Even as a gymnast in the past, there was always something to criticize about (your figure or your exercise that may or may not have gone well in the competition…). But I don’t let anything depend on other people anymore. I have grown in that, too. I used to be able to change my mood based on other people’s reactions, but now I only do it for myself. If I am happy with something, I won’t change anything.

Defining Success and Handling Criticism
I no longer define success in medals. It’s about the people around you who like you the way you are, they are valuable in your life. because in this industry there are still people who look down on you. While this is also just a (well-paid) job and for which you also pay taxes. It’s just not everyone’s choice and I respect that. But as long as I can organize my own life with my work and I have love around me, I am happy.

About Camming Industry
I think personal contact with my fans is very important. I have often been asked by large companies if they can take it off my hands, but I don’t want that. First of all, it is very annoying if someone else answers private messages on your behalf, and in a Live chat session, you don’t know what that person is talking about (because you missed that whole conversation). So I do everything myself, and it takes a lot of time, but I am happier with that.

Camming can also be very fun. Of course, it is an erotic platform, but it can also go much deeper than that. I know some people spend 50+ hours every week working, and I spend so many more hours than that doing my job. I feel like I’m always working. This is the best & least stressful job I’ve ever had & I wouldn’t change a thing.

Camming Career Duration
I started camming about 2 years ago. I have done solo, couples, and group cam shows. They’re so fun & I am looking to get myself a more efficient space so I can cam more frequently. The fans are so supportive and amazing. I’m actually really excited to get back into it!

Handling Criticism
I take all criticism as constructive, but not the end-all-be-all of opinions. Everyone is into different things. Being in this industry could be difficult if I didn’t have thick skin and self-esteem. There may be a month without bookings, so I make sure to spend time building my own empire & taking rejections as a “thank you” and moving along.
