Streamate is launching its Steamy August Contest from August 16 to August 22 GMT, giving the top 1,000 performers a chance to win cash rewards.

The contest is based on eligible earnings during the event week, with the first-place prize set at $7,500. Other prizes range from $5,000 for second place down to $100 for places 751–1000.

Ranking is determined by how much members spend on a performer during the contest period. Media sales, subscriptions, and Cammodel earnings do not count.

Streamate is encouraging performers to promote their schedules to regulars and use #smcontest on social media.

Rewards will be verified after the contest and added to earnings within a week.

While the platform encourages creativity and fun during shows, models are reminded that using any type of toy during Free Chat is strictly prohibited. Toys may be shown to members or placed nearby on the bed, but they cannot be used, activated or interacted with in any way while in Free Chat.

Chaturbate has introduced Auto Translate, a new feature designed to help creators and viewers communicate more easily across different languages.

The update translates public chat messages in real time, making it easier for international viewers to follow conversations, join the room activity and feel more connected to the community. For creators, this can mean more engagement, more interaction and new regulars from audiences who may have been watching quietly before.

Auto Translate works individually for each user. Creators and viewers can each choose their own preferred language, and messages will appear translated for them personally. For example, one viewer can read the chat in Portuguese, while the creator sees it in their selected language, without changing the experience for anyone else.

Chaturbate says the feature is designed to keep the natural tone of conversation, including slang, emojis and the flow of chat, so messages feel more like real communication rather than basic word-for-word translation.

Creators can enable the feature by opening chat settings, finding the Auto Translate section below ChaturSafe, turning it on, and selecting their preferred language.

At launch, Auto Translate is available only in public chat, with support for direct messages planned for a future update.

The new feature gives Chaturbate creators a simple way to connect with a wider global audience, reduce language barriers, and encourage more viewers to take part in the room.
