Chaturbate Adds Country Filters

Chaturbate is introducing new country filters that allow viewers to browse live cams by location directly from the homepage. Creators no longer need to use a hashtag slot to identify their country.

Broadcasters who enable country visibility can appear under the corresponding country filter while live, potentially reaching new viewers and increasing their discoverability. Country filters are displayed only when eligible creators from that location are broadcasting.

Participation remains optional. Creators who prefer not to display their country can disable the setting, automatically excluding their rooms from country-based results.

How to Enable Country Visibility

Broadcasters can activate the feature by following Chaturbate’s instructions:

Open the Settings & Privacy tab.
Find the Broadcaster Settings section.
Locate the checkbox marked “Your country flag will be displayed on the homepage thumbnails.”
Turn it ON to display the country flag and become eligible for country filter results.
Turn it OFF to hide the country and remain excluded from these results.

Changes are saved automatically.

Chaturbate notes that disabling country visibility may reduce discoverability among viewers who browse using the new filters.

Country filtering is currently available only on desktop, with mobile availability expected later. The feature is being introduced to viewers in phases and should become available across the platform shortly.

Updated Community Guidelines: Clearer Guidance for Real Streaming Situations

We’ve updated the Community Guidelines to make them clearer, more transparent, and easier to use in everyday streaming situations.

We know it isn’t always easy to understand how a rule applies to a specific moment on camera. The updated Guidelines include clearer explanations and brand-new enforcement notes for relevant policy areas. These notes answer questions we hear most often.

Alongside these practical explanations, the update highlights a key principle behind moderation: context matters. We review the whole situation rather than isolated words, objects, or moments in a broadcast. A single unverified report does not trigger enforcement on its own.

*All performers are eligible to earn rewards. Ranking is determined by how much members spend on you during the event (excluding all media sales, subscription charges, and Cammodel earnings, which do not count toward your ranking). After the event, we’ll verify all rankings. Performers with any fraudulent earnings will be disqualified and may have their account suspended or closed. Rewards will be added to your earnings within a week after the contest is over and will be paid on your regular payment schedule.

CAM4 Launches Top Creator Contest

CAM4 has launched its Top Creator Contest, giving broadcasters the opportunity to earn extra money by selling locked photos and videos through their Activity Feed.

The eight highest-earning eligible participants will share a $1,525 prize pool. The five Global prizes range from $100 to $500, while three Newbie prizes worth $50, $75, and $100 are available to broadcasters who registered between July 13 and September 13, 2026.

To participate, verified broadcasters must complete CAM4’s official registration form by Sunday, September 13, 2026, publish locked Activity Feed content, and stream for at least five hours during the contest period.

Rankings will be based exclusively on eligible earnings from locked Activity Feed photos and videos. Token transfers between accounts are prohibited, and each broadcaster may win only one prize. The previous contest winner is excluded.

CAM4 will review contest activity and may disqualify participants who violate its rules. Prizes will be credited to the winners’ accounts by September 23, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
