Cams.com Reinforces Key Policies to Ensure Platform Integrity and Safety

Cams.com has issued important reminders to all models regarding two critical policies aimed at maintaining the safety and integrity of the platform.

Prohibition of Collusion with Members

Models are advised that collusion with members, including sharing earnings in exchange for spending, is strictly prohibited. Recent instances have led to several terminations where models were found engaging in such activities. If approached by a member with a proposal for collusion, models should immediately block the individual and report the incident through the Model Center under the “Help” – “Email Us” option, selecting “Reporting an Abusive Member” as the subject and mentioning the username and “Collusion” in the comments. If you suspect a member of using multiple accounts to enter your stream, please report all associated handles promptly.

Zero Tolerance for Underage Interaction

In a separate reminder, Cams.com stresses that individuals under 18 are not permitted on the site. Models must not engage in or simulate sexual interaction or discussions involving minors, including role-playing scenarios. Should a model encounter a member violating this rule, it is imperative to use the broadcaster’s blocking tool immediately, selecting “minor” as the reason. It is insufficient to simply ask the member to change the subject or leave the chat. For any doubts about what constitutes prohibited conduct, models should report the member for review.

Stripchat Expands Access

Stripchat has made Magic Search unlimited for all users, including guests. The feature lets people search for live rooms by describing, in their own words, what they want to see. It accepts searches in more than 50 languages and returns live rooms that match the description.

How Discovery Works

Magic Search uses computer vision to match a user’s request with what is visible in a stream. Distinctive outfits, room setups, visual styles, toys, or tattoos may help a room appear in results when those details are in the camera frame.

This can make unusual or highly specific shows easier to discover, even when they do not fit an existing category. Users only need to describe the feature they're looking for. Stripchat says people searching for something specific are more likely to stay and tip than users who are browsing without a set goal.

Tags and Categories Remain

Existing tags and categories will continue to work as they did before. Magic Search adds another discovery option rather than replacing those tools.

BongaModels Adds Light Mode to Its Mobile Console

BongaModels has added Light Mode to its mobile console for models and studios that stream from a phone. The new option provides a bright, clear interface that makes controls and other on-screen elements easier to see in daylight and other brightly lit environments.

The update gives mobile users a choice between Light Mode and the existing Dark Mode. This lets streamers choose an interface based on their surroundings and personal viewing preference.

How to change modes

Users can switch between Light and Dark modes at any time. The Light/Dark toggle is located in the mobile console’s Settings.

Selecting Light Mode changes the console to the brighter interface. Users who prefer a darker screen, including when working in lower-light conditions, can return to Dark Mode through the same Settings toggle.

Streamate Announces Best Face Forward Contest for September 13-19

Streamate will hold its Best Face Forward contest from September 13 through September 19, based on GMT. The event rewards the top 500 performers and also offers separate bonuses to people who meet the streaming-time requirement.

How the ranking works

A performer's position will be based on eligible earnings from their best three streaming days during the contest. The remaining four days will not count toward the final rank. This gives performers room for a slow day or time away while still allowing them to improve their result by streaming on more days.

The contest leaderboard includes a countdown that shows when the event begins in each local time zone.

Bonus awards

Any performer who streams for at least 25 hours during the event can qualify for one additional bonus. A performer who earns at least $250 can receive $25. Reaching $500 can earn a $50 bonus, while reaching $1,000 can earn $100. The offer also applies to performers who finish in the top 500.

Eligibility and payment schedule

The ranking uses the amount members spend on a performer during the contest. Media sales, subscription charges, and Cammodel earnings are excluded. Streamate will verify the rankings when the event ends. Fraudulent earnings can lead to disqualification and may result in an account suspension or closure.

Rewards are expected to be added to performer earnings within one week after the contest and then paid on the regular payment schedule. Streamate also suggests telling regular viewers when a performer will be online and using #smcontest when promoting shows on social media.
