Stripchat: Mobile Video Uploads Now Enable Stream-Specific Verification

The platform has officially removed the desktop-only restriction for category verification, empowering performers to submit their sample videos via mobile. This means that even without access to a PC or laptop, models can now get verified for special categories, on the go.

Previously, broadcasting in certain categories required performers to submit a sample video through the desktop site. Now, this step can be done entirely through a mobile device. Just head to My Details, scroll to the Stream Specifics section, and upload a video that’s at least 30 seconds long, with sound, demonstrating your performance in the relevant category. Once approved, Stripchat will send confirmation via private message.

Stripchat encourages performers to take full advantage of this update’s flexibility, turning mobile phones into broadcasting studios and passes into new category opportunities.

Performers are also invited to leave feedback directly on the update announcement, as Stripchat states it is continuously improving based on user input.

Stripchat: Add Your Tax ID to Keep Receiving Payments

Stripchat has announced that all EU residents who receive payments must update their payment settings by adding their tax identification number. This update is required to comply with European regulations.

If you already use the new payment settings, your tax ID is stored. However, if you’re still on the old version, you must complete this update before the end of October, when the old settings will be disabled. Streaming and token accumulation will continue as usual, but payouts will be paused until your tax ID is added.

The process takes just a minute:

Go to Payment Settings and click View & Edit Details to receive the update link via email.
Enter your tax ID in the Legal Information section of your payment method.
Scroll down and click Save Settings.
Once saved, your payouts will continue without interruption.
